Christmas 2024 Wrap-Up
This holiday season St. Vincent de Paul hosted our Christmas Toy Stores in Boise, Caldwell, and Pop-Up stores in Mountain Home and Ontario. We were able to reach 6,172 children ages 0-18 years old across the Treasure Valley Area and make their Christmas Special with hand picked toys and gifts from their guardians.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of donations by those in the community, our stores were able to provide $153,000 worth of gifts. This was made possible by those of you who donated gifts to our drop off boxes located in our stores and by local businesses and organizations who put together toy drives and or made a financial donation to our Christmas Toy Store.
We deeply appreciate the compassion and joy that was poured into helping those in our community especially during the holiday season. Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping us register store shoppers, collecting toys, setting up and running toy stores, and making an impact on a families Christmas morning.
Each year, St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho opens the Christmas Toy Store to families in need who cannot afford to purchase Christmas Gifts for their children.
In partnership with local school counselors in Ada and Canyon County, we provide gifts at no out-of-pocket cost to families with children ages 0-18 to shop at our Christmas Toy Store.
Our volunteers screen and pre-register each family over the phone. Once registered, families can pick out gifts at the Christmas Toy Store from December 4th – December 17th.
In 2023, the St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho Christmas Toy Store provided gifts to 5,847 local children.

By donating a toy or gift to the Toy Store you are providing a Christmas gift to a child in need.
The St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Toy Store is open to families with children ages 0-18. If you would like to donate, we ask that the toy or gift be new, unopened, and in its original packaging. There is no need to gift wrap!

Host a Christmas Toy Drive
Help bring joy to children in need this holiday season by hosting a toy drive for St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho's Christmas Toy Store! Each year, we partner with local school counselors in Ada and Canyon County to provide free Christmas gifts to families who may not otherwise be able to afford them.
Families with children ages 0-18 are invited to shop at our Christmas Toy Store from December 4th through December 17th. By hosting a toy drive, you can make the season brighter for children in your community. Every donation helps create cherished memories!

GIVIng TREE
Jordan's Garden Center is proud to partner with St. Vincent de Paul Idaho again this year to extend its already successful Giving Tree program.
With this program, SVDP helps over 1,600 Treasure Valley families in need during the holiday by providing Christmas gifts to families who otherwise may not have a present to put under the tree. In partnership with SVDP, Jordan's Garden Center has extended the program to include a free Christmas tree to put those presents under. Christmas is the season of giving, and with this partnership, we can give over 1600 families a better Christmas.
A Christmas tree and gifts wrapped underneath make Christmas morning a reason for families to celebrate. Tears have been brought to moms, children, and staff alike as we bring the joy of Christmas into a family's home.
